Event production
An event is rarely just an event. There is the conceptual
idea, the reason behind it, the excuse for bringing
people together. An atmosphere to create and the
tiniest details that make it all mean something. We
work from the first inkling through to the finished
affair, with a hand in the thinking as well as the doing.
Happily, we rather like that sort of thing.
Design production
An idea is easily had. Getting it off the pages of a
notebook and out into the world is quite another
matter. Between the two lies everything that brings a
vision to life: the gathering, the coordinating, the quiet
keeping of order while a project finds its shape. We take
care of the many moving parts, from the first sample to
the final flourish. It is far less glamorous than it sounds,
but secretly satisfying.
We do, on occasion,
invite work into the house.
Location hire
Our home in Belgium, set among the beech trees just outside Antwerp. For a century and a half, the house has evolved with its keepers. We are simply the latest in a long line. Original details remain alongside considered additions, each from a different moment in its history.
Tall arched windows draw the light across limestone flagstones and herringbone oak floors. High ceilings lend the rooms a quiet grandeur, while the attic has kept its original beams. Arches recur throughout, connecting the architecture to the garden beyond, where a pond shapes the view.
